I’m looking for a Staff level Engineer to help me build something extraordinary! At American Express, we are building a Cloud Native Payment Network, and we are using Go to do it (which you can read about here: https://go.dev/solutions/americanexpress/). This role will be reporting to me 
and be responsible for the architecture and design of a critical part of our platform. We focus heavily on resiliency, availability, and performance as these are financial transactions that come at us fast and on a large scale.
I’m looking for someone who can drive engineering practices while also mentoring the team, helping them become the best they can be. We are a fun team with a ton of interesting engineering challenges to solve.
