I’ve been working on a fairly large Go book for some time. Originally, it was just a personal project for myself, but over time it grew into something much bigger. The book is already written, and I’m currently improving and refining it. I’m also planning to open source it, so anyone can read, learn from it, and contribute. If I get good feedback after open sourcing it, I’d like to find an experienced Go developer from the community and eventually transfer the book to them, so they can help turn it into the ultimate Go book and continue expanding and improving it.
The main idea is to cover much more than just Go syntax and basic programming. I wanted to build a resource that takes someone from learning Go to understanding how to build production-ready systems and think more like a senior engineer.
I should also mention that I used various AI while writing the book. AI helped me with research, writing, improve the wording, organize the content, and structure things properly. Since English is my second language, AI also helped me express and present my thought more clearly.
So, what do you think? I’d really like to hear your honest opinion.
