As a very unscientific indicator of startup adoption, hacker news who’s hiring is starting to show more golang than nodejs jobs. (The green line is ruby). I have been hoping that nodejs would start fading for a while now. I personally want ruby, python, and golang to rise above nodejs, amongst those four choices.
It’s hard to interpret the python figure in this graph because python jobs can be either machine learning or backend/web development.
