Golang project in a shared hosting

I just completed an application involving a dynamic webpages using mysql in my personal computer, but I want to migrate it to my hostgator.com or goddady.com shared hosting. What I have to do to run my application in hostgator? Can I install a golang server in my shared host?

Normally you have no root access to a web hosting. You need a VPS with root access. Example https://digialocean.com or https://upcloud.com
