Hi folks! My name is Jonas and I manage the Messaging Platform for The NYTimes, which delivers hundreds-of-millions of push and email messages per day to tens-of-millions of NYTimes users. We operate a distributed backend system written in Go and running in GCP. I’m hiring several roles to join the team in a substantial platform re-architecture to support the growing scale of the Times.
My priority roles are a Lead Engineer and Principal Engineer, but I’m also hiring mid and senior Go programmers. We’ve got plenty of fun challenges to solve. We’re remote friendly within the US.
