Doctrine or Manifest for GO?

I am looking for a doctrine or a manifest or something similar that would explain why GO exists or what it’s purpose is or it tries to behave.

e.g. In Python there is one “right” way to achieve something and in ruby there are multiple “right” ways to achieve something. Both ways have advantages and disadvantages but it helps to understand the community.

Is something in that direction available? A video would also be beneficial.

I like the manifest from dhh regarding rails: http://rubyonrails.org/doctrine/

Thanks for your answer,
Alex

Not really a manifest, but I think this is an attempt to answer the question you’re asking:

Right, it’s not a manifest, but it’s close enough for me. Thanks
