I recently found equinox for distributing Go applications which felt that it suits more for enterprise customers.

Iā€™d personally prefer to use a packaging system like RPM or DEP to distribute/deploy since the system is usually mature to perform rollbacks, pre-deploy checks etc., apart from teardown and booting up.
