Can iosocket and go app run on same port within a app?

Hi All,

I want to run my app with io socket to update the data on front-end. so I want to know can we run io socket and go app on same port or I need to run io socket on the different port. It will be better if I can manage it on the same port because I need to host my app on heroku which doest not allow run a app with two different port.So please suggest me options. Thanks in advance.
