Best api testing tool as Postman Alternative

Since Postman has made cloud sync mandatory, we’re now looking for an alternative that’s lightweight, not bloated, fully free, and works locally without forced cloud dependency.

I am using posting happily. My coworkers seem to have settled on bruno.
