I’m Neville, a seasoned backend engineer, primarily in Go.
Most recently, I served as a Founding Engineer at a personal finance startup, where I built majority of the backend (Go, PostgreSQL), designed and maintained CI/CD workflows, managed infrastructure, and shaped overall code quality and security practices.
I’m seeking full-time or part-time roles in fintech, media/streaming, cloud platforms, or adjacent domains. I’m based in Nairobi (UTC+3), but can adjust my working hours for overlap. I prefer remote roles but I’m open to relocation. I am available 30+ hours/week.
