Backend Developer - Downtown Washington, DC [Onsite]

Wireless Registry is a tech company building an unprecedented, dynamic database of relationships among wireless devices. We provide new solutions around contextual and behavioral identities to our customers. Wireless Registry is Washington, DC-based, with a great team, flexible work environment and committed investors.

We are looking for a Backend Developer interested in getting involved in all parts of our system: data input, monitoring, storage, and data analysis.

Wireless Registry builds on top of Cassandra, Kafka, Zookeeper, and Solr to construct our graph backend. The graph query engine is written in Go and deployed as a microservice in Kubernetes. The batch processes are in Spark and Scala. None of these technologies is a prerequisite; we are looking for developers who will challenge, break, and help us build a better system.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • distributed databases
  • microservices
  • monitoring distributed systems
  • writing concurrent code
  • interest in unsupervised ML/clustering algorithms

Be motivated and excited; tell us about the projects you have worked on, the problems you have solved, and why you liked doing it. We trust you to pick up the necessary technologies and new skills to help us build our system.

You can email your cover letter and resume to: contact@wirelessregistry.com

The compensation package is a combination of salary and options.

Wireless Registry is an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status. www.wirelessregistry.com
