Add text to an image

Hello everyone.

I’m interested in adding text to an image at a specific coordinate and to choose the font, size and color.

I can not find how to do it, I reviewed the GO library, but can not find an easy way to do this.

I searched on GitHub for language:go font, sorted by “most stars”, and found golang/freetype. The readme does not really help but the drawer example looks promising. It turns a poem into a .png image. Is this what you are looking for?
