Ad Serving at Vungle:
Ad Serving is the core to Vungle’s success. Our pod is responsible for architecting and building our entire ad serving infrastructure. Currently, that infrastructure handles over a billion events per day and has an exponential growth curve. We’re an innovative engineering team, utilizing the latest and greatest technology in order to build efficient and high scale systems. If building and scaling high-frequency systems is something that gets you excited, then we’d love to chat!
Here are some other things you can expect coming into this role:
0-1 month:
- Become familiar with Vungle’s core stack
- Commit features w/ assistance from other team members
1-3 months:
- Integrate into code review & deployment process
- Contribute meaningfully to the quarterly planning process Begin
to define architecture challenges
Potential project areas:
We have an extensive and ambitious roadmap. It’s top secret though (so we can’t post it) but you’d have the ability to touch on some or all of the various initiatives.

We put a lot of emphasis on learning and career growth. Ad Serving is the centerpiece of the entire engineering org at vungle. You will be working with all engineering teams at Vungle, and you will learn a lot about our SDK, Dashboard, Data engineering and Data Science. You will be exposed and encouraged to learn all of Vungle’s tech stack, as well as given the opportunity to explore any tools or technology that could help drive our product forward.

Essential Qualities:
- Expertise in server side technology
- Solid understanding of large scale systems
- Passionate about expanding their knowledge of emerging technologies.
- Strong at OO or functional programming, problem-solving, data structures and system architecture
- Passionate about developing efficient algorithms and cutting nanoseconds from the pipeline
Nice to have Experience:
- Previous professional experience writing in Golang, Java, Scala, NodeJs, C or C++
- Previous experience in ad tech
Work with the coolest team in all of SF!! ( Mostly the coolest boss in the world but you get me!! )
