This project embeds a chromium into the application. But communication with js is only possible with http for now.

You can use a very simple trick do write gui applications for desktop without qml or other gui toolkits but using Chrome. Simply write web applications and runs it in Chrome app mode.

i use this trick even to run the same application on Android and various desktop systems… is a very good technique for portability.
