Github.com/golang-ui/nuklear problem

Hello,
While i tried to compile example (github.com/golang-ui/nuklear/blob/master/cmd/nk-example/main.go) im getting

# github.com/go-gl/glfw/v3.2/glfw
exec: "gcc": executable file not found in %PATH%
# github.com/go-gl/gl/v3.2-core/gl
exec: "gcc": executable file not found in %PATH%

errors

I’m going to assume again that you’re using Windows. You actually need to follow the “additional steps for Windows users” before compiling that Go program as per the project’s README: https://github.com/golang-ui/nuklear/blob/master/README.md

Also dealing with cgo is a huge pain in itself, if you don’t understand the build chain of C game development I would recommend against attempting trying to write a game in Go. If you’re stuck on this error (which is a very basic error) then you’ll likely get stuck on many errors down the road, and this community may not help you through all of your errors. Consider learning the basics of OpenGL on a beginner’s tutorial first: http://www.opengl-tutorial.org/beginners-tutorials/tutorial-1-opening-a-window/.

Thanks,

Still have same problem, yes i use windows

Have you even checked to see if ‘gcc’ is in your %PATH%?

Open up a command prompt and type ‘gcc’ to see if it works.
