Coder has recently relocated from NYC, and is building out remote team and our team in the Austin office.
What We Do
Coder is a startup working on a full featured cloud based development suite. We’re currently working on backend infrastructure, and could use a few extra minds on the project. Our backend is programmed in Go, but if you’re a talented Rust developer and willing to learn feel free to apply. Here’s what we’re looking for;
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related.
A degree is not necessary.
Experience with backend programming, in particular: Go
Open source activity
Bonus Points for the Following
Experience with Docker, containerization, and/or microservice architecture.
Experience creating distributed, fault-tolerant, and scalable systems.
Experience working with public clouds such as AWS.
Info we’d like to see!
GitHub, StackOverflow, Resume, CV
(Remember, you don’t need to have all of these qualifications, the most important one is being proficient in Go or willing to learn.)
How it would work…
It’s all pretty standard, first we would schedule an interview, where you would meet with our CTO and Systems Director to see if you’re a good fit, as well as answer any questions you might have. From there we would set pay, sign contracts, and go through all the hoops. You’d be setup on our Slack, introduced to the team, and off to the races!
