I made a build tool that focuses on doing build tasks inside of Docker containers: https://github.com/arschles/godo.
It encodes the Docker-based build workflow outlined in a few posts out there, as well as the build madness we’ve built into our Makefiles at Deis.

The idea is still relatively new and the implementation is pretty new, and I’d love feedback on either.
